As part of the Joint Fund initiative, the U.S. Early-Career Visitor Program was launched to providetravel grants for early-career U.S. researchers to conduct short-term exchange visits at Egyptian institutions. These visits were intended to foster professional development, strengthen collaborative relationships, and facilitate the exchange of knowledge and expertise. The program aimed to contribute to the long-term growth of scientific networks, address shared scientific challenges that benefit both the U.S. and Egyptian research communities,
