Convened by Transportation Research Board, the Joint Committee Meeting: TRB Roadside Safety Design and AASHTO Technical Committee on Roadside Safety (TCRS) will be held online on August 3, 5, 7, 11, and 13, 2020.
Sessions will be held for about two hours each morning and two hours each afternoon. Each day will focus on specific themes. There are no registration fees for the event and registrants can join any or all sessions. The daily themes are:
Monday, August 3, 2020—Implementation and Updates to the Manual for Assessment of Safety Hardware (MASH)
Wednesday, August 5, 2020—Vulnerable Road Users
Friday, August 7, 2020—Trees and Poles
Tuesday, August 11, 2020—In-Service Performance Evaluation (ISPE)
Thursday, August 13, 2020—Research Needs Statements, review from previous sessions

The event was originally scheduled for July 2020 in Savannah, GA.
