How can 3D printing be used to advance the transportation industry? TRB conducted a webinar on Tuesday, November 17, 2020 from 2:00 PM to 3:30 PM Eastern that explored the recent advancements, potential challenges, and future opportunities of 3D printing. Presenters provided an overview of current knowledge about concrete additive manufacturing technologies suitable for transportation applications, and evaluate the potential applications of these applications. They also discussed recommendations for possible future research needs in 3D printing of transportation structures.
This webinar was organized by the TRB Standing Committee on Advanced Concrete Materials and Characterization.
The presentation slides and recording of the webinar are available.
