The challenges of running inclusive and diverse organizations apply to airports of all types and sizes. TRB hosted a webinar on Wednesday, March 10, 2021 from 2:00 to 3:30 PM Eastern that discussed airport-specific guidelines for identifying and calculating benefits, costs, and regional economic impact of diversity contracting for airport businesses. Presenters described the challenges facing airports’ diversity and inclusion initiatives and identified best practices to mitigate those challenges in airport workforce programs.

The webinar features research from ACRP Report 217: Guidance for Diversity in Airport Business Contracting and Workforce Programs.

The first 60 minutes of the webinar will be for presentations and the final 30 minutes will be reserved for audience questions.
