• Name Badge Policy

  An official 2026 TRB Annual Meeting name badge must be worn at all times during the meeting. To maintain the integrity and security of the TRB Annual Meeting, badge sharing is not permitted. Once a badge has been printed, any reprints will cost $50.

• Registration Cancellation Policy

  Registration cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to the TRB Registration Bureau, SPARGO Inc., at TRB@spargoinc.com, by Wednesday, December 3, 2025, to receive a refund minus a $50 cancellation fee. All refunds are processed after the Annual Meeting. Refunds will not be granted for requests received after Wednesday, December 3, 2025. Telephone cancellations will not be accepted.

• Code of Conduct

  TRB is part of the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine (National Academies) and follows the National Academies guidelines in preventing discrimination, harassment, and bullying of participants at National Academies events, including the TRB Annual Meeting.

• News Media Registration

  Approved media can register to attend the TRB Annual Meeting at no charge. A history of being registered as News Media to a past TRB Annual Meeting does not pre-qualify an individual to receive media registration for the 2026 meeting. You must be approved each year.

• Caution: Mail List Solicitations

  TRB does not share the email addresses of Annual Meeting attendees or sell mailing lists of its volunteers. Anyone other than TRB who claims to have such a list is acting without TRB's participation or approval. TRB has no reason to believe any such list would represent the actual Annual Meeting attendees or volunteers. TRB recommends that you do not click on any links in the email and that you delete it immediately. TRB also recommends that you do not request to be removed from the mailing list as that likely would confirm to the sender that your email address is valid and thus may result in additional solicitations.
