Single-Use Plastics in Health Care
March 11
During this webinar, experts will discuss health care plastic pollution and its health impacts, and explore policy and practical solutions to reduce health care’s reliance on single-use plastics, among other related topics.  

AI in Radiation Therapy and Oncology, Medical Diagnostics, and Occupational Health and Safety
March 13 and 14
This symposium will examine current and emerging applications of AI and machine learning in the radiation health science fields and include discussions on algorithm development, data collection, training, and opportunities to advance radiation health sciences.  

Health Workforce Well-Being Day Celebratory Event
March 17
In an ongoing commitment to health workers and health for all, the NAM established in 2024 “Health Workforce Well-Being Day,” to take place annually on March 18. This event will convene national and institutional leaders, policymakers, patients and communities, and health workers of all professions to continue galvanizing efforts toward health worker well-being.  

Insights from Neurobiology on Stress
March 24 and 25
This workshop will bring together experts in neuroscience, public health, and psychology to explore how susceptibility to stress and different mechanisms of resilience in the brain can shape individual stress responses, and how research findings can inform public health programs and education to promote resilience to stress.  

AI’s Impact on Systems, Enterprise, and Cyber Resilience in Transportation
March 26
Artificial intelligence can optimize traffic management, improve predictive maintenance schedules, and streamline operations, but it can also present significant issues — from ethical concerns to cyber threats and unintended consequences. Discussions at this meeting will focus on how to harness AI’s potential while mitigating risk and maintaining resilience.
