The push towards quantum-enabled systems has illuminated a number of emerging supply-chain issues. Quantum systems typically connect quantum phenomena with systems of device components. Most demonstrations of these phenomena occur in the academic sphere, however it remains to be seen where leading production systems will be developed. However, much of the current expertise in critical materials and components is found offshore. The development of assured domestic sources of materials, manufacturing capabilities, and expertise is critical. Current technology trends and the collective needs and concerns of the DoD-stakeholder materials and manufacturing community are addressed during this workshop.
