The Institute of Medicine Roundtable on Health Literacy will be holding a workshop on November 21, 2013 in Irvine, California. The meeting will run from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. at the Beckman Center inside of the auditorium. The workshop will feature the presentation of a commissioned paper on health literacy activities currently underway in public health organizations. Other presentations will examine the implications of health literacy for the mission and essential services of public health.
