The Roundtable on Translating Genomic-Based Research for Health hosted this workshop to examine and discuss the effect of current conflict of interest policies—both public and private—on medical innovation. Stakeholders, including government officials, pharmaceutical company representatives, academic administrators and researchers, health care providers, medical ethicists and consumers presented their perspectives and participated in discussions during the workshop.
