Appendix B

Workshop Statement of Task

An ad hoc committee will plan and conduct a public workshop on key proliferation policy questions capable of being answered by a technical assessment of the host state proliferation risk posed by a given nuclear fuel cycle, and the utility of these questions for informing international nonproliferation policy decisions. The committee will develop the workshop agenda, select and invite speakers and discussants, and moderate the discussions. An individually-authored summary of the event will be prepared by a designated rapporteur. The summary will serve as a key input to a separate and more detailed study of the subject that will be undertaken following the workshop.
