	*What are the opportunities and challenges of giving a voice to teachers around education policy and other forms of decision making at the national, state, and local levels?*
	A panel will provide perspectives about how teachers are involved with these issues, the benefits that teacher voices have brought to the table, and any challenges faced. Convocation participants will be able to ask general questions and additional discussion is scheduled for 12:00 today following additional perspective from two plenary speakers.

11:15 am	Breakout Sessions
	In these sessions participants who represent a sector of the education system will meet together and with representatives from their professional societies to develop and agenda for action. Each group will appoint a rapporteur and prepare not more than two PowerPoint slides that provide the following information: One or two actions that people in your sector can implement at the beginning of the new academic year. One or two actions that people in your sector can accomplish by the end of the next academic year. At least one other sector that can help you achieve your goals by working collaboratively.
