Appendix C: Breakout Session Instructions

Breakout Sessions Overview

The objective of the breakout sessions is to provide event participants an opportunity to have more in-depth dialogue with industry experts and peers on the various topics discussed throughout the day. Each discussion will be led by a facilitator who keeps the discussion on track and the group engaged and captures the main points of discussion and TRB/ACRP research ideas raised by the group. The facilitators will provide a 2- to 3-minute overview of the main topics discussed in their breakout session to the full group. The facilitator may choose a few topics to focus the discussion or leave it up to the participants to decide which themes to cover.
