A most recent meeting of the Board on Research Data and Information (BRDI) was held on January 15-16, 2020. Members were provided with updates on current BRDI projects, including the Roundtable on Aligning Incentives for Open Science and a consensus study on Realizing Opportunities for Advanced and Automated Workflows in Scientific Research. Representatives from governments and nongovernmental organizations spoke to BRDI regarding their current priorities and future needs related to research data and information. BRDI members also raised suggestions for future topics and potential board activities relating to open science and research data and information.
