TRB Webinar: A Research Roadmap for Transportation and Public Health

June 29, 2020

2:00 PM - 3:00 PM (EDT)

Past

States and localities are beginning to recognize and act on the connection between health and transportation. TRB hosted a webinar on Monday, June 29, 2020 from 2:00 to 3:00 PM Eastern that discussed how to leverage transportation projects to support positive health outcomes. New opportunities are developing within transportation agencies to better integrate public health concepts into transportation processes. Presenters discussed how these opportunities align with research, data, and decision-making tools to further connect active transportation goals with improved health outcomes.

This webinar draws on research from the National Cooperative Highway Research Program (NCHRP) Research Report 932: A Research Roadmap for Transportation and Public Health.

The slides are linked in the meeting materials. View the recorded webinar below.
