TRB Webinar: Concrete Overlays of Asphalt

March 11, 2021

2:20 PM - 3:30 PM (EST)

Past

Concrete overlays of asphalt (COA) pavements are a widely accepted rehabilitation strategy used to extend the life of asphalt pavements. However, there are still design and construction challenges, and COA features often differ between states. TRB hosted a webinar on Thursday, March 11, 2021 from 2:00-3:30 PM Eastern that provided an overview of recently completed COA research and field implementations. Presenters identified research from Accelerated Pavement Testing and long-term performance studies. They also discussed case studies to highlight essential factors for states looking to implement or improve upon this strategy.

This webinar was sponsored by the TRB Standing Committee on Pavement Structural Testing and Evaluation.

The recording of this webinar is available.
