Research and practice in the areas of transportation performance, risk, and asset management have added to transportation planning tools, methods, and strategies. Integrating these changes into historically-siloed management practices requires the earnest focus of an entire organization, including participation of practically every individual. TRB hosted a webinar on Tuesday, August 23, 2022 from 1:30 – 3:00 p.m. Eastern that offered suggestions on building a roadmap for integrated management within their agency. The tactical and strategic roadmap includes steps for organizational structure, change management and communication to enterprise systems, qualitative/quantitative analysis, build resiliency, and data governance.

This webinar is based on NCHRP Research Report 985: Integrating Effective Transportation Performance, Risk, and Asset Management Practices.

This webinar was sponsored by TRB’s Standing Technical Committees on Performance Management, Transportation Asset Management, and Critical Transportation Infrastructure Protection.

The slides are linked in the meeting materials. View the recorded webinar below.
