Past
Many industrial sectors are increasingly focused on reducing greenhouse gas emissions and achieving net zero emissions by 2050. As the largest contributor, making the transportation sector more sustainable is essential to meeting this goal. Life-cycle assessment (LCA) is a critical tool to evaluate the emissions associated with transportation infrastructure and implementation of strategies to reduce greenhouse gas. TRB hosted a webinar on Thursday, August 17, 2023 from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM Eastern that provided multiple perspectives from public and private sectors and academia for stakeholders to learn about LCA process, current tools and data, the newest trends, and future needs.
This webinar was sponsored by TRB’s Standing Technical Subcommittee for Sustainable and Resilient Pavements.
The slides are linked in the meeting materials. View the recorded webinar below.
