TRB Webinar: PFAS Source Differentiation at Airports

March 21, 2024

1:00 PM - 2:30 PM (EDT)

Past

Airports are facing increased regulatory pressure to address per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) on or near their facilities. To effectively manage this environmental challenge, it is imperative to identify the sources of PFAS. TRB hosted a webinar on Thursday, March 21, 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM Eastern that provided guidance for airports facing pressure and technical hurdles addressing PFAS contamination. Presenters shared effective strategies for identifying the sources of PFAS contamination and its various impacts at airports.

This webinar was based on ACRP Research Report 255: PFAS Source Differentiation Guide for Airports.

This webinar was sponsored by TRB’s Airport Cooperative Research Program.

The slides are linked in the meeting materials. View the recorded webinar below.
