Panchanathan Nominated to Serve as Next Director of NSF

WASHINGTON -- Sethuraman “Panch” Panchanathan, executive vice president and chief research and innovation officer at Arizona State University (ASU), and ASU’s named representative to the National Academies’ Government-University-Industry-Research Roundtable (GUIRR), has been nominated by President Trump to serve as the next director of the National Science Foundation. Upon Senate confirmation, Panchanathan will succeed current NSF Director France Córdova, whose term will conclude in spring of 2020.
