Partnerships for Enhanced Engagement in Research Liberia (PEER/Liberia)

PEER/Liberia was a partnership among the University of Liberia College of Health Sciences/A.M. Dogliotti Medical School (AMD), the Liberia College of Physicians and Surgeons (LCPS), SIM/ELWA Hospital, the University of Massachusetts Medical School, Vanderbilt University, and Yale University to build medical education and clinical research capacity in Liberia in 2018-2023.

The PEER/Liberia funded partners were selected from a competitive application process and notified November 2017. Through a co-creation process involving staff from USAID headquarters, USAID/Liberia, A.M. Dogliotti College of Medicine, Liberia College of Physicians and Surgeons (LCPS), and the Liberia Ministry of Health, the consortium initiated their activities in the summer of 2018. Details about the activiites carried out by each partner are available below.
