The National Academies' Committee on Independent Scientific Review of Everglades Restoration Progress (CISRERP) has provided biennial reviews of restoration progress and advice on scientific and engineering issues that may impact progress since 2004. This is the 9th biennial review to be completed in November of 2022. This study was congressionally mandated under the Water Resources Development Act of 2000, which launched the Comprehensive Everglades Restoration Plan (CERP).
