Over the past few years the common use of telehealth technology has been rapidly expanding. The Social Security Administration (SSA) desires to explore the growing role of telehealth in medical care and the ways in which it can be used to provide diagnostic services to aid in the disability determination process. The National Academies will host a workshop to examine telehealth as a whole, as well as to evaluate any potential challenges or barriers specific to this method of care.
