The intent of this workshop was to examine the complex interactions among biological variables and the social determinants of health (SDOH), and how these factors interact to affect cancer-related health outcomes. Workshop presentations and discussions considered opportunities to advance health equity in cancer by identifying promising avenues for future research, as well as policies and interventions aimed at mitigating the negative impacts of SDOH on cancer-related health outcomes.
On the evening of March 20, 2024, the Forum convened a poster session in concert with the workshop. For more information, please visit the poster session webpage.
