U.S. Liaison Committee for the International Union of Pure and Applied Physics (USLC/IUPAP)

The National Academy of Sciences withdrew as the U.S. adhering member of the International Union of Pure and Applied Physics (IUPAP), effective July 1, 2026, and no longer serves as the U.S. adhering body to the Union. As a result, the U.S. Liaison Committee for the International Union of Pure and Applied Physics (USLC/IUPAP) has been dissolved. This page is retained for historical purposes and reflects the National Academy of Sciences’ former relationship with the International Union of Pure and Applied Physics.
