The COVID-19 pandemic drastically impacted education and how teaching and learning is enacted. Teachers’ experiences in the past year show potential for alternative forms of instruction, including remote learning. Building upon last year’s webinar series sponsored by the USNC/MI, this year’s series titled Mathematics for Global Challenges: Lessons Learned from International Mathematics Educators will continue the conversation of how best to support teachers and students through this challenging time. The purpose of this webinar initiative is to share with the U.S. mathematics education community the best practices observed from international experts in order to learn, grow, and think forward.
