Join the Roundtable on Systemic Change in Undergraduate STEM Education on October 24, 2024, from 11:00 AM—5:00 PM ET for a preview of modules designed to help faculty and administrators learn more about how they can use the principles of systemic change to improve student learning experiences. Created by small groups of Roundtable members, each module focuses on a specific topic in a short, accessible format.

Module topics include:

understanding the undergraduate STEM learning ecosystem,
creating student ready institutions,
advancing from reflection to action, and
specific information for institutional leaders working towards systemic change.

Future modules will focus on specific information for faculty and for departmental leaders.

The event will also include ideas for how to disseminate and implement these modules on college and university campuses.

The Roundtable on Systemic Change in Undergraduate STEM Education is hosting a hybrid meeting to examine how we can better understand and improve undergraduate STEM education. We will explore how the interactions of many stakeholders with diverse influences and constraints contribute to the current system, and explore opportunities for making the system better.

Panel discussions and break out sessions will focus on key themes, potential levers for change, interactions between the various levels (classroom, department, institution, etc.) and the wide variety of stakeholders (students, educators, employers, community, funders, accreditors, policy-makers, etc) that comprise the system of higher education.
