Description

At the request of the US Army Office of the Chief Scientist, the Board on Army Research and Development (BOARD) will initiate a roundtable activity to bring together experts on the topic of energetics. The roundtable will convene 3 meetings during the proposed period of performance to hear from invited experts on topics within the scope of the roundtable charter -- Scan, Assess, and Inform Opportunities for the Army to consider further that address some of the Army’s most pressing energetics needs for the future. In some cases, members of the roundtable can commission individually authored papers designed to acquaint members with key issues. Consistent with Academies policies, roundtables cannot produce written products; however, following each roundtable meeting, presentation materials, a list of attendees, and the meeting agenda fill be made available to the sponsor.
