Horizon Scanning and Emerging Technology for Department of War Standing Committee
This standing committee will explore the implications of global basic and applied research in the era of strategic competition, identify areas where opportunities for Five Eye alliance nation cooperative research may exist to avoid technological surprise, and inform U.S. efforts to develop standards for comparison and comparative analysis of research capabilities of foreign nations and the private sector in relation to U.S. research capabilities.
