Description
The National Academy of Sciences is the U.S. adhering body to the International Science Council's Committee on Data (CODATA) and it maintains its relationship with the committee through the U.S. National Committee for CODATA (USNC/CODATA). CODATA is an ISC interdisciplinary scientific committee that works to improve the quality, reliability, management, and accessibility of data of importance to all fields of science and technology.
