Airport Cooperative Research Program
ACRP, authorized by federal aviation legislation and funded through annual appropriations, was established in 2006. Sponsored by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), ACRP is an industry-driven program that produces practical research to address challenges faced by airport operators. Research topics are selected by an independent governing board appointed by the U.S. Secretary of Transportation, comprising representatives from airports, academia, the FAA, and the aviation industry.
