This two-part webinar series will explore DBASSE’s expertise in artificial intelligence and highlight the value of social and behavioral science perspectives in asking and answering questions about AI. The first webinar will be centered around the 2022 report Human-AI Teaming: State-of-the-Art and Research Needs, exploring in more depth how to best integrate AI into teams to enhance productivity. The second webinar will use the topics covered by various DBASSE boards as lenses through which to consider AI from a broader societal perspective. Both webinars will emphasize the importance of social and behavioral sciences in guiding AI policy. The webinars will be a showcase of DBASSE’s unique expertise and value in AI research, while also highlighting important areas for future work.
