The Board on Research Data and Information (BRDI) met on May 27, 2021. Members were provided with updates on current BRDI projects, including the Roundtable on Aligning Incentives for Open Science and a consensus study on Realizing Opportunities for Advanced and Automated Workflows in Scientific Research. Representatives from governments and nongovernmental organization spoke to BRDI regarding their current priorities and challenges related to research data and information. A Roundtable discussion with BRDI members and participants explored organizational priorities and how BRDI might contribute to addressing them, as well as suggestions for future topics and potential board activities relating to open science and research data and information.
