June 6, 2023

Past

As transit agencies implement new or expanded on-demand services, effective methods in marketing and customer education are critical for success. TRB hosted a webinar on Tuesday, June 6, 2023 from 2:00 PM to 3:30 PM Eastern that provided findings and insights about how transit agencies and other local government entities approach marketing, customer education, and engagement efforts to improve awareness and utilization of their on-demand transit services or subsidy programs. Presenters shared examples of effort and different approaches such as media materials and advertising, in-person events and street team education, and use of data and technology tools.

This webinar is based on TCRP Research Report 165: Customer Education and Awareness of On-Demand Mobility.
