The Board on Children, Youth, and Families of the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine is holding a meeting of stakeholders to discuss the newly released report, Transforming the Financing of Early Care and Education, on August 24, 2018 from 9:30 AM to 3:30 PM PT at the Beckman Center in Irvine, California. The report provides specific recommendations for making early care and education more affordable for families, linking funding to high-quality standards, and financing the transformation of the ECE workforce, as envisioned in the report, Transforming the Workforce for Children Birth Through Age 8: A Unifying Foundation. This interactive meeting will be an opportunity to focus on what it will take for stakeholders to advance the recommended changes to financing, with a particular emphasis on the transformation of the ECE workforce.

Space is limited so please register early if you are interested in attending. We will not be offering a remote attendance option for this meeting due to the interactive nature of the agenda.
