Family-Focused Interventions to Prevent Substance Use Disorders in Adolescence: A Workshop

Completed

The National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine hosted a workshop to examine family-focused interventions that have been used to address substance use disorders in adolescent primary health care settings. During this workshop, participants learned about existing state policy efforts to incorporate these interventions into state health care strategies. Speakers discussed barriers to implementation for these interventions, as well as examples of lessons learned from successful efforts to scale up such interventions.
