About

The Convocation on the Status of Informal Science and Engineering Education is a 2-day event that will bring together the research, practice, policy, and philanthropic communities to take stock of the progress made in the field over the past 15 years since the release of the 2009 National Academies report, Learning Science in Informal Environments. Participants will consider the impacts of this report, reflect on the trends in the field since the report's release, share challenges and solutions, and identify promising directions forward.
