The Committee on National Statistics (CNSTAT) will convene a public workshop in early 2023 to discuss strategies to measure death by suicide of law enforcement and correctional officers in the United States. A planning committee will define the specific topics to be addressed, develop the agenda, and select and invite speakers and other participants. After the workshop, a proceedings of the workshop will be prepared by designated rapporteur(s) in accordance with the National Academies’ guidelines and shall be released to the public.
