In conjunction with the Fall 2016 Board on Agriculture and Natural Resources (BANR) meeting, a dissemination event was organized to discuss the Academies report Genetically Engineered Crops: Experiences and Prospects. This meeting brought together the leadership of a multi-disciplinary group of U.S. scientific and medical societies to discuss the report and the future implications of the use of agricultural biotechnology, including evolving tools such as gene editing and gene drive.
