What is the value of chemical sciences to the U.S. economy? The ongoing National Academies study, Enhancing the U.S. Chemical Economy through Investments in Fundamental Research in the Chemical Sciences, seeks to answer how investing in fundamental chemistry can bolster economic activity in the United States.

Join our study committee on Friday, April 2, 2021 from 1:00-4:00 PM (ET) to hear economists and industry experts outline the best ways to invest in fundamental chemical sciences research. This virtual information-gathering session will feature talks from Vinod Khosla, the founder of Khosla Ventures, and John Jankowski, a program director at the National Center for Science and Engineering Statistics within the National Science Foundation.
