This consensus study reviewed U.S. Navy cyber defense capabilities and recommended immediate operational and technical mitigation strategies needed to address any shortcomings, including architectural and procedural changes that would lead to more resilient naval network and communication systems. The study also assessed the adequacy of current Department of the Navy cyber defense policies, strategies, approaches, and investments.
