The committee on Progress Toward Human Health and Community Resilience in the Gulf of Mexico Region will examine key challenges and priorities in the Gulf states (i.e., Alabama, Florida, Louisiana, Mississippi, and Texas) related to human health and community resilience, and assess progress that has been made to address challenges in these areas. The committee will also explore opportunities for enhancing or improving health and community resilience in this region and identify major challenges, critical gaps, and innovative or transformative approaches that could advance health and community resilience for communities and people who live and work in the Gulf region.
