This one-day workshop showcased a series of presentations and discussion about measuring health equity. Sessions focused on history and key concepts, the state of the science on measurement and data sources, health equity measurement in the clinical care sector, the role of communities, and cross-sector measurement insights. The event built on earlier exploration of how we measure health equity and the factors that shape it in Metrics that Matter for Population Health Action (2016).

Meeting materials include speaker slides and a list of background readings and resources. In addition to these materials, a scholarly, open access (free download) overview of graphic representations of the drivers of health and equity (2020) is available here.
