The Forum on Traumatic Brain Injury hosted a 1-day workshop exploring biomarkers to more precisely and objectively diagnose and categorize a suspected TBI, better guide and monitor treatment after injury, and refine future research studies. Workshop discussions addressed such topics as the landscape of TBI biomarker classes, the impact biomarkers can have on various phases of TBI care and research, and key questions and potential opportunities to help advance the field.
