The Strategic Council for Research Excellence, Integrity, and Trust serves as a venue for multiple stakeholders to advance collectively the integrity, ethics, resilience, and effectiveness of the research enterprise, while at the same time preparing it for tomorrow's challenges. The Strategic Council Working Groups address issues relevant to improving the research ecosystem.

Description

Working Group 8 is developing tools to help communicate the reliability of scientific findings, particularly in human health research. The group's work includes creating visual aids to support science journalists in evaluating and conveying the strength of evidence in research, with attention to accessibility and public understanding.
