The Innovation Policy Forum and the Committee on Science, Technology, and Law held a workshop to explore international issues surrounding reform of the patent system and other intellectual property rights systems in key emerging markets. The workshop addressed the status of the patent systems in emerging markets, efforts needed to harmonize these systems, and the potential economic, competitive, and technological impact of current reforms internationally and in the US.
