B Workshop Participants

During the preparation of this report, the committee depended on input from a large number of colleagues. Noted in this appendix are the participants in six workshops that the committee held in 1995 and 1996. Many others helped by commenting on early drafts of the report or providing information in their particular areas of expertise. The field of optics is so broad and diverse that the committee could never have accomplished its task without the assistance of this wider community.
