Roundtable on Macroeconomics and Climate-related Risks and Opportunities

The Roundtable on Macroeconomics and Climate-related Risks and Opportunities will improve the understanding of how the physical and transition effects of climate change relate to and affect macroeconomic performance and the implications for fiscal, monetary, and financial stability policies. The roundtable will focus on how to translate potential risks associated with climate change and transitions toward a carbon-neutral economy into macroeconomic modeling, including challenges associated with harmonizing data collection and adjusting analytical approaches in macroeconomic models to accommodate unique characteristics of climate risks and opportunities.
