Getting to Zero Alcohol-Impaired Driving Fatalities: A Comprehensive Approach to a Persistent Problem
This new report, from the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine, examines which interventions -- programs, systems, and policies -- are most promising to prevent injuries and deaths from alcohol-impaired driving and the barriers to action. The report includes recommendations to serve as a blueprint for the U.S. to accelerate progress in reducing alcohol-impaired driving fatalities.
These briefings were for members of Congress and congressional staff only. The report was publicly released on January 17, 2018 and can be found, in its entirety, on the Web site of the National Academies Press.
