Roundtable on Mentorship, Well-Being, and Professional Development
Graduate students and postdoctoral scholars are critical to scientific research. The research environments in which they work and learn, however, do not always address their mental, financial, and social well-being or facilitate their full ability to develop professionally and contribute to the STEMM research ecosystem.
Working from both theoretical and practitioner-based perspectives, the Roundtable on Mentorship, Well-being, and Professional Development will seek out examples of improvements and innovations in supportive services and effective mentorship to ultimately catalyze the creation of a more inclusive and equitable higher education and STEMM research ecosystem.
