Data governance can drive better decisions and be an integral part of an agency’s strategic planning. TRB hosted a webinar on Thursday, October 1, 2020 from 1:00-3:00 PM Eastern that identified thoughtful data governance through data systems, data collection, and strategies for communicating results. This webinar also provided tools and methods to help secure an agency’s return on investment in transportation asset management (TAM) both on land and at sea. Presenters highlighted their strategies and policies in implementing data governance and tools, the anticipated benefits, and lessons learned.

This webinar was organized by the TRB Standing Committee on Transportation Asset Management.
